Registration open

Two cities.
Two evenings.

It’s official: the Prime Minister will be there.

Prime Minister Mark Carney has accepted our invitation and will join us in Calgary and Edmonton, to hear it from Albertans themselves: we are proud Albertans and Forever Canadians.

Now we need a full room.

Every seat filled says it louder than any speech. Get your free pass, and bring the people you love.

Which evening?

Coming to both? Register for each evening.

Election rules apply at this building

The EXPO Centre is also an advance voting place on rally day: voting is in Hall H, through Doors 1 and 2. Alberta election law bans campaign material inside the building and anywhere on its grounds, including the parking lot. Breaking it can mean a fine of up to $10,000.

From the moment you arrive: keep your flag rolled up, wear a coat or jacket over your Forever Canadian gear, and don't talk to anyone about the referendum or how they're voting. Doors 1 and 2 are for voters: we'll email you the rally's entrance.

Your name, exactly as it appears on your government-issued photo ID

We check government-issued photo ID at the door, and it must match the name on your pass. Under-18s coming with an adult don't need ID.

We'll email you a 6-digit code to confirm it's you.

One pass admits one person. Add family after you register.

Bring your family and friends

One voice is easy to miss. Thousands, in one room, on live TV, are not. Bring your family, your neighbours, the friend who's never come to anything before. Everyone needs their own free pass.

Questions

Will the Prime Minister be there?

Yes. Prime Minister Mark Carney has accepted our invitation and will join us in Calgary on Thursday and in Edmonton on Friday. Register now: no one gets in without a pass.

Edmonton: the EXPO Centre is also a voting place. What does that mean?

Is it free?

Yes. Passes are free, but everyone needs to register.

Can I bring my family and friends?

Please do. Each person needs their own pass. Friends register here with their own email. Family members can be added to your pass after you register, each with their own QR code.

Do children need a pass?

Yes. Everyone needs their own pass, children included. Add your children to your pass after you register. Under-18s don't need photo ID when they come with an adult.

Can I just show up at the door?

No. No one gets in without a pass. If you haven't registered, register before you come.

What time do doors open?

Doors open at 5 pm, both evenings. Confirmed guests get directions and the entrance by email.

Why did you invite the Prime Minister?

Because this is about all of Canada, not only Alberta. We want the country's leader to see what we see every day: Albertans from every walk of life standing up for a united Canada. We invited him to listen. You're the reason he's coming.

What do I need to bring?

Your pass (on your phone or the saved image) and government-issued photo ID with the same name. No ID, no entry (under-18s with an adult excepted). One small bag (smaller than 35 × 30 × 19 cm). Your flag is welcome, without a pole.

What should I leave at home?

Backpacks and big bags, flagpoles and sticks, signs and banners, chairs, alcohol and glass, weapons, fireworks and sprays, drones and laser pointers.

Getting to the EXPO Centre (Edmonton)

LRT: Coliseum station (Capital Line) connects to the EXPO Centre by an outdoor pedway; buses stop at Coliseum Transit Centre. Parking: more than 3,800 stalls, $16.50 for the day; pay at the meters south of the building or with the HONK app (zone "EXPO"). Accessible parking is close to the building and every level has elevators. Remember: the election rules apply in the parking lot too. Rates as published by the EXPO Centre.

Can I come to both evenings?

Yes. Register once for Calgary and once for Edmonton.

When does registration close?

At 6 pm on the day of each evening. Register before you come: no one gets in without a pass.

I lost my pass, or didn't get the email
