Half a Million Strong

While separatists backed by the Alberta government push to divide this country, ordinary Albertans are fighting back. The Forever Canadian Movement is the grassroots force standing in their way — and we are winning.

We asked Albertans a simple question: do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada? In just 90 days, over 404,293 of them said yes — delivering the largest citizen-initiated petition in Alberta's history. This isn't a political party. It's the people.

On December 1, 2025, Elections Alberta officially certified our petition. With 404,293 verified signatures representing 13.6% of Alberta's electors, we shattered the requirement and made history. It is a victory for every Albertan who wants to remain part of a strong, united, and prosperous future inside Canada.

When we launched on July 30, 2025, the odds were stacked against us. We were a grassroots underdog operating under the old Citizen Initiative Act rules — required to collect a staggering 294,000 physical signatures, a higher bar than any petition that followed. Pundits were skeptical. Opponents were loud. They said it was impossible. They underestimated the people of Alberta.

The true heroes of this movement are the more than 10,000 Albertans who volunteered, including over 5,000 who registered as official canvassers. They knocked on doors in the heat and stood at farmers' markets in the rain. They hosted signing events in their driveways and community halls. They are Albertans from every walk of life, united by one conviction: that believing in Canada makes us stronger together.

This petition was not won by politicians. It was won by the people who built this movement — ordinary Albertans taking extraordinary action, guided by shared values and the belief that together we can accomplish more than any of us could alone.

The campaign was never just about signatures — it was about showing what Albertans can achieve when they unite. With nearly half a million signatures, we proved that the majority of Albertans are proud Canadians and built one of the largest, most engaged grassroots organizations in the province's history. The message is clear: Alberta is, and always will be, Forever Canadian.
